SayKind helps you say a difficult thing kindly — describe a moment, pick from a few message options, and turn the one you like into a card you can share. Need help? Contact us at maxadlaistudio@gmail.com.

Common Topics

1) What SayKind Does

• Describe the moment: pick what's going on (an apology, comfort, a boundary, reconnecting, explaining yourself, and more), who it's for — partner, friend, family, colleague, dating, someone you were formerly close with, or type in your own relationship — and a short description of what happened.
• Choose a tone: SayKind offers three message options — sincere, gentle, and light — so you can pick what fits.
• Make it a card: turn your chosen message into a picture with your words on it, ready to save or share.
• Saved tab: a local timeline of every card you've saved, grouped by year and month so recent cards are easy to find.

2) Getting a Message

• Tap “Help me say it” after filling in the moment, relationship, and what happened. Tap “Add tone or details” to optionally nudge the tone (warm, brief, direct, and more) or add a free-text detail.
• SayKind writes the three options in whichever language you have selected in the app.
• If a result doesn't feel right, you can regenerate or adjust your description and try again.
• You're always free to edit the text yourself before turning it into a card.

3) Making, Saving, and Downloading a Card

• After picking a message, choose a background image and a text style to make your card.
• Save keeps the finished card — the image with your text baked in, plus the date — in SayKind's own Saved tab, on your device only.
• Share opens the iOS share sheet so you can send the finished image anywhere.
• Tapping a card in the Saved tab opens it full-size, where Download saves the image straight to your Photos library, and Share opens the share sheet again.
• You can delete any saved card from the Saved tab at any time.

4) Your Name and Photo

• Settings › Your name & photo lets you add your own name and a profile photo, shown as a small circular badge at the bottom of your cards.
• Turn “Show on cards” off if you'd rather your cards not include it — everything else about card-making works the same either way.

5) SayKind Plus

• SayKind Plus is an optional, auto-renewing yearly subscription that unlocks AI message generation ("Help me say it" / "Regenerate"), including 500 AI messages per year.
• Saving cards, the Saved tab, sharing, and downloading all remain free and work without a subscription.
• Pricing, billing, and renewal are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and shown before you confirm a purchase.
• Manage or cancel anytime from your Apple ID's subscription settings (Settings app › your name › Subscriptions on your device).
• If a purchase doesn't unlock properly, use Restore purchases on the SayKind Plus screen.

6) Language

• SayKind supports English, 中文, Español, हिन्दी, العربية, Português, and বাংলা.
• Change your language from Settings; new messages are generated in the language you have selected.

7) Your Data

• Everything SayKind saves — your message history, your saved cards, and your name/photo — stays on your device. There is no account and nothing is synced to the cloud.
• When you generate, refine, or reply, the relevant text and context are sent securely through MAX AI Studio's server to OpenAI. Saved cards and images are never uploaded.
• Deleting the app deletes everything SayKind has stored, including saved cards.

8) Accuracy

• Message suggestions are AI-generated starting points, not a guarantee of the right words for every situation — always read them over and adjust to fit your own voice before sending.

When Contacting Support

• Device model and iOS version.
• SayKind app version (Settings › About, if shown).
• What happened and what you expected.
• Screenshots and any error message.
• Which language you had selected, if the issue is about a generated message.
• For SayKind Plus issues: whether Restore purchases was tried, and the Apple ID region used for the purchase.
