InfoMask Support
Last updated: September 17, 2026
InfoMask helps you hide private details — faces, text, and other
sensitive information — in screenshots and photos before you share
them, entirely on your iPhone. Need help? Contact us at
maxadlaistudio@gmail.com.
Common Topics
1) Redacting a Screenshot
- Redact Latest Screenshot on Home opens your most
recent screenshot directly, if InfoMask already has permission to see
it.
- Choose Screenshot opens the system photo picker so
you can pick any photo.
- Take Photo & Mask opens the camera to capture a
new photo to redact.
- InfoMask suggests masks automatically (faces, text, and other
detected details); tap any suggestion to toggle it, drag to move or
resize it, or draw your own rectangle.
2) Batch Redacting Multiple Screenshots
- On the Batch tab, Choose Screenshots
lets you select multiple images from your library at once (up to 20).
- Take Photos & Mask lets you capture several
photos in a row with the camera, reviewing each shot before moving to
the next.
- Presets like "Hide Everyone" or "Sensitive Only" apply across every
selected image at once.
3) Mask Styles
- Choose solid, pixelate, or
blur for any individual mask, or set a default style in
Settings.
- Detected faces default to a smile-style cover; you can change any
face's style individually in the Faces panel.
4) History
- Save redacted copies in history is enabled by default
to keep local export copies, organised by year and month. You can disable it in Settings.
- Tap a year or month header to collapse or expand that section.
- Tap an entry's … menu to re-share, preview,
or delete it.
- History is stored only on your device — see
the Privacy Policy for details.
5) Share Extension
- From the Photos app (or any app's share sheet), tap Share, then
choose InfoMask to redact a screenshot without leaving that app.
- If InfoMask isn't listed, tap More in the share
sheet and enable it.
6) Accuracy
- Detection is a suggestion, not a guarantee — it can miss
details or mask the wrong area.
- Always review the exported/redacted copy carefully before sharing or
saving it.
When Contacting Support
InfoMask does not automatically send diagnostic information or images.
Contacting support is optional. Share only the details you are comfortable providing.
- Device model and iOS version.
- What happened and what you expected.
- A redacted screenshot of the issue, if helpful. Hide private details before sending.
- Whether it happened in the main app or the Share Extension.
